Turnkey Time-Lapse

If you know how use a calendar then you can program the system. Allowing for a totally variable shooting program. And most importantly this can be changed remotely if need be.

It’s not only about making the system easy to use, it’s also about the quality of the images. This system has been developed around Nikon camera system.  This high resolution equipment which enables us to also produce hi res still images up to 16 million pixels as well as extremely high quality time-lapse. We use only the best optics to make sure there is no compromise in quality.

We understand that robustness is a must for certain jobs.  So we have designed the system to take what ever the elements might throw at it. The unit has a number of fans built-in, to keep temperatures at a workable level. Also there is filtration to keep the dust out. It is constructed using precision Italian mounting systems. The case it self is constructed with a robust aluminum material supplied with pole or wall mounts.

You can now hire the complete solution for short to mid-term projects, contact Team Digital for details.

Brand Spanking New…

Whilst this looks like an amazing laptop there are some things you need to consider when buying this unit. This model doesn’t allow too many updates after purchase. RAM, for instance, is now locked to the configuration that you purchase. The battery also is not user serviceable and so can only be replaced at a service centre.

Speed, speed, speed: all configurations of the Retina display MacBook Pro now come with quad-core Intel i7 processors, which definitely helps you get through your work and get onto other things more efficiently than ever.

Also, while we love the idea of the Retina Display with its 2880×1800 resolution, some applications may not be able to use that resolution just yet. So in the interim, you may get some blurry images on your shiny new MacBook Pro.

The colour geeks here at Team Digital are keen to measure the colour gamut and put this little speedster through its paces. Our Retina unit should be arriving soon. Check the blog regularly updates.

Interfaces – the nice and fast USB 3.0 and amazingly fast Thunderbolt ports (2 of them)make the MacBook Pro with Retina display no slouch indeed, however if you want to connect to a wired network don’t forget you’ll need a Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet adapter. Another welcome addition is the HDMI port. This makes connecting your laptop to HD and SD flat screen TVs or HDMI equipped projectors a breeze.

On a positive note—for those who need more mobility—the new MacBook Pro Retina has been taking Zhumba classes. It comes in at a very lean 2.02kg and a slender 1.8cm profile.

Mac Pro — New Model

Apple have bumped the specifications for the Mac Pro, this revision is about relatively minor improvements in the CPU, RAM, pricing and Custom Build configurations and the price. For example the standard RAM configurations have doubled. Prior to this announcement there were some rumors floating around the internet of major interface upgrades to the Mac Pro like Thunderbolt and USB 3.0, sadly these haven’t materialized. For now people with high-speed external interface or storage requirements will still need to use PCIe cards with higher-speed interfaces like mini-sas, eSata, Thunderbolt or USB 3.0. Ask Team Digital about the best options available for your needs.

MacBook Air — New Models

Some big improvement in processor speed, now you can custom order: up to 8GB of RAM, or more hard drive storage. With the new USB3.0 and Thunderbolt interfaces the MacBook Air can now connect, at high speed, with more devices than ever before. And if you still don’t have enough ports Belkin is soon to release Thunderbolt hub that has everything you could want.

MacBook Pro — New Models

The MacBook Pro has some big improvements in processor speed and now has USB 3.0 as standard. Now with expansion to 16GB of onboard RAM it makes this workhorse even better.

And of course there is the MacBook Pro with Retina display and that a whole new post.
