ANZANG Nature Photography
ANZANG is focused on the unique natural heritage of the bioregion of Australia, New Zealand, Antarctica and the New Guinea region. ANZANG Nature Photography is an exhibition that celebrates the depth and diversity of nature in this region through the eye of the nature photographer. It focuses on enhancing a general knowledge of this extraordinary area by encouraging photography of its native flora, fauna and wilderness to stimulate interest in its ongoing conservation and protection. “The Moving Landscape” Seminar.Proudly presented by Team Digital. Kata FlyBy-76 – When Security & Convenience MattersWe have recently added the Kata FlyBy bags to our range because they fill an important need for those customers who travel regularly with a full photographic kit including laptop.
The laptop slides out easily without having to fully open the bag, ideal for airport security checks. Gigapan is an electronic tripod head that automatically tilts and moves your camera to capture hundreds of photos of a scene, then using its proprietary software, stitches them together into a huge panoramic image. Gigapan has in fact been on the market for some time but up until now has lacked a professional option. The release of the Gigapan Epic Pro, which is compatible with most Digital SLR systems, has changed that. What separates Eizo from the rest?
Superior bit depth – this translates to the ability to display much smoother tonal detail. Uniformity of brightness – corner-to-corner, edge-to-edge. A closer examination of the Eizo CG245W for example is a good case in point. It has an industry-first built-in calibration sensor so you can schedule the monitor to self-calibrate at your convenience. This eliminates the need for a third-party calibration device. The monitor reproduces 98% of the Adobe® RGB colour space so it can display most colours in a digital photo taken in Adobe® RGB mode. The CG245W also has an sRGB mode to accurately reproduce colours in this narrower but commonly used space, such as those seen on web pages or digital photos taken in sRGB mode. A Drobo is an excellent way to easily expand your network storage. Just insert from two to five hard drives in to a Drobo FS, for your desired storage capacity, then plug the Drobo FS into your network and you can enjoy the peace-of-mind of convenient, redundant storage. Now Drobo FS supports Apple Time Machine, so with the convenient backup technology build into Mac OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard Apple Macintosh users can have a history of backups for each computer on your network. Then, accidentally deleting a file, then, is no longer a drama. Just a quick visit to Time Machine and you can retrieve a copy of that file, that is at most only an hour old. Chromajet Centurian Metallic
Samples of this new media have just arrived at Team Digital and the results are quite stunning. The finish is very similar to silver halide photographic papers with exceptional clarity, brilliant colour and a high gloss metallic look. We will be offering the Centurian Metallic in two surfaces, high gloss white (slightly warm) and Bright White (slightly cool). Technical TipsHere are a few tips from the service team that may help some of you keep a full head of hair a little longer: (Tip 1) Dropbox: Everyone at some point has the problem of wanting to sync files on more than one computer. Enter Dropbox, a free, easy to install, beautifully designed piece of software. Dropbox is software that syncs your files online and across your computers. Put your files into Dropbox on one computer, and they’ll be instantly available on any of your other computers that you have installed Dropbox on (Windows, Mac and Linus too). “I use Dropbox for my financials and important documents.” says Team Digital support technician Rob. “That way even if my Mac is stolen or destroyed I can retrieve a copy from Dropbox’s secure servers.” (Tip 2) – Omnidisksweeper: Omnidisksweeper is a Mac OS X utility for quickly finding and deleting big, useless files and making space on your hard disks. Omnidisksweeper scans your disks, highlights the biggest files, and notes which files are used by the system so you don’t accidentally delete anything important. It’s a fast, easy way to find everything that’s hogging your drive so you can clear it out and free up space for the stuff you really need.
