Pro Series: Photo Effects

Although many people nowadays have gone down the "digital darkroom" path, the appearance of traditional wet darkroom effects is still very popular. A toned or pseudo toned effect can bring a little something extra to a colour or B&W image- affecting the visual emphasis and emotional impact. Often these are also far more controllable and repeatable when carried out digitally. We'll explore a broad range of photographic effects, some of the less obvious ways of achieving these, and weigh up their pros and cons.
