Craig Cooper is the leader of a five person creative team at Cooper Studio, a high-end studio based in Fremantle which completes over 500 portrait and wedding assignments each year. The 36-year-old photographer has won 15 awards at the Australian Professional Photography Awards, and received the honour of Master of Photography in 2007. A devoted father to two young boys, much of Craig’s art now involves photographing young children. Craig has a unique and seemingly off-hand approach to recording his subjects, belying a depth of technical and aesthetic know-how. He is revealing his philosophy and techniques for the first time.
