Mac Pro — New Model

Apple have bumped the specifications for the Mac Pro, this revision is about relatively minor improvements in the CPU, RAM, pricing and Custom Build configurations and the price. For example the standard RAM configurations have doubled. Prior to this announcement there were some rumors floating around the internet of major interface upgrades to the Mac Pro like Thunderbolt and USB 3.0, sadly these haven’t materialized. For now people with high-speed external interface or storage requirements will still need to use PCIe cards with higher-speed interfaces like mini-sas, eSata, Thunderbolt or USB 3.0.
