From Both Sides
North, South. East, West. Natural, Industrial. Urban, remote. A collection of contrasts.
A collaboration that began in remote Western Australia in 2012, Both sides is an exhibition of recent images by Sheldon Pettit and Stuart Westmore that contrasts landscapes from opposite sides of the country.
Sheldon Pettit is a rising star in landscape photography. Based in Port Hedland his images are of remote natural landscapes and the epic industrial scenes of the Pilbara. In his first year as an AIPP member Sheldon was awarded three Silver Distinctions at the Canon APPA Awards in 2013.
Stuart Westmore is a Melbourne photographer with a growing portfolio of urban and industrial landscapes. Stuart was the winner of the Trolley category in the 2012 Team Digital Golden Shopping Trolley Urban Landscape Awards.
Captured primarily on Phase One digital medium format cameras and printed on Canson BFK Rives paper, the Both Sides exhibition is proudly supported by Team Digital and The Epson Print Gallery.
